Databases
Use databases to help you find references to articles, book chapters, books, and other types of resources. Often these databases only contain information about the resource so you will need to link out to see if we have the article. If we don't then we can usually get it for you within a couple of days.
- PsycINFOPsycINFO is the main psychology database. The benefits are that you are only seeing psychology relevant resources and you have an incredible ability to limit your searches.
- PubMedIf your search is human biology related then PubMed is another great resource.
- Google ScholarReally useful when you don't know the right search terms and when looking at citing articles. **Make sure you go in and change the Settings - Library Settings - Library Links - Memorial University of Newfoundland Get it @ Memorial
